You’ve probably heard the frequent mentions of the fun fact that the Cubs have yet to lose 3 games in a row this year. They are one of 4 teams which can say that, the others being the Yankees, the Orioles, and the Phillies.
But did you know that only three teams can say they have not lost consecutive series? Hint: it’s three of the four teams in the first list. Answer at the end of the post.
Oh, heck, this is a quick post, so I’m not going to make you wait. It’s the Cubs, Yankees and Orioles. And for the Cubs, at least, I think having strong starting pitching night after night has been central to this slump-resistant start to the season.
